Shengzhe (Jackson) Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering focusing on the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions for climate change adaptation. In particular, Dr. Wang works at the intersection between water and the built environment to pioneer creative structural systems that enhance the resiliency of future cities against natural hazards (e.g., storm surges) exacerbated by a changing climate. Dr. Wang holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in structural engineering from the University of Auckland, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in geotechnical engineering from the University of Sydney, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in structural engineering from Princeton University.
